Data collected via the contact form
When you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optional phone number and your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required to fulfil this purpose. To guard against bulk abuse, your IP address is submitted with the enquiry and stored in the e-mail. We additionally keep a cryptographic hash of your IP address for at most one hour in order to limit the number of submissions; the IP address itself is not stored. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in preventing abuse).
Hosting and processing
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. E-mails submitted through the contact form are also sent via IONOS SE mail servers. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS SE. No personal data is transferred to third countries outside the EU.
Server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically processes technically necessary data (including IP address, date and time of access, page requested) in server log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).
Storage on your device
This website sets no cookies and embeds no third-party services — there are no analytics or advertising tools, and fonts are served from our own server. Only two entries are stored in your browser, and the second one only with your consent: 1. «rosti:consent» (localStorage): your decision about this storage. Without it we would have to ask again on every page. Legal basis: Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, technically necessary. 2. «rosti:intro» (sessionStorage): remembers that you have already seen the intro animation during this visit. The entry is deleted as soon as you close the tab. Legal basis: your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG. Without consent the animation is not shown at all. You can change your decision at any time via «Data storage» in the footer of every page. If you delete the entries in your browser settings, we will ask again on your next visit.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing. To exercise your rights, please contact info@rosti-hms.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
